Our brewery's name was inspired by the stories of Rudyard Kipling’s travels across Canada and his famous quote “This part of the country seems to have all hell for a basement, and the only trap door appears to be in Medicine Hat. And you don’t even think of changing the name of your town. It’s all your own and the only hat of its kind on earth.” – Rudyard Kipling 1907
Since the summer of 2016, a fearless group of beer enthusiasts from Medicine Hat embarked on an epic quest. They, along with their families, friends, and countless members of the community have valiantly toiled to unleash the magic of local craft beer upon the Hat. We're not just brewing beer; we're crafting a legacy, one pint at a time. As staunch supporters of our beloved community, we've teamed up with local businesses and artists, turning our brewery into a vibrant canvas of creativity. Together, we're making the dream of bringing top-notch, fresh brews to Medicine Hat a bona fide reality!
